In October we spent about three weekends in a row waiting on the water to cooperate for a surfing competition Sailor had signed up for. One weekend a cancellation was made early enough that we were able to sign Tucker up for a local 5k/10k race held at the beach. He had no clue what to expect but wanted to give it a try after he'd been running cross country all season.
Kind of explains why the surfing competition was cancelled. Gorgeous!
Tucker signed up for the 5k knowing he could run that one with no problem.

Tucker had no clue he had even placed so he was thrilled when he was called for 3rd place for his age group. He placed 8th overall.
