NYSA Homecoming

The local sports association recently had their own homecoming for the middle school children, they even had a homecoming dance. Tucker wasn't entirely sure about going but Morgan convinced him to go. I think alot of kids think Tucker and Morgan are a "couple", but as you can see from the pictures they are definitely just family.

They are honestly like this all the time.
Finally, a decent picture!

Welcome Home!

After many long months of deployment, Hank is finally back home. He arrived home Wednesday morning of last week. We didn't really get official confirmation on his arrival until a few days before so we decided to not tell the kids and surprise them when they got home from school that day.

Waiting on the buses to bring them in.
Cutter entertaining himself while waiting.
Look, I have two flags!
Two happy little boys.

Tucker was very surprised and very emotional.

It's a good thing Sailor doesn't weigh very much, she jumped right up on him!

Navarre High School Homecoming 2011

Navarre High recently had their homecoming and apparently homecoming here is done alot different than when I was in school, our only formal event was prom. It is so much fun to see all the kids all dressed up. We met Alli over at the park with her friends to see her and take some pictures.

Cutter and "his girl Alli" as he calls her.
How gorgeous are these girls?!
It's a rough life but someone has to do it. ;)

Navarre Beach Sand Sculpting Festival

Navarre Beach recently had their 2nd annual Sand Sculpting Festival. We had to go and at least take a peak, I'm amazed at what these artists can do. I can't always get the bucket to make the correct shape and they can sculpt entire people! We went over on Sunday during lunch to see the sculptures and grab a bite to eat at the pier. Many of the artists were still working and since judging wasn't until late that afternoon we weren't able to stick around to see who won.

This sand was brought in for this display only.

This was one of my favorites, we do love pirates at our house.

It's a little hard to see but there are sting rays, turtles and dolphins.
This one was titled Hungry, Hungry Hippo. I thought it was a really cool concept and a big hit for the football fans.

Aunt Audrey's 80th Birthday

For Aunt Audrey's 80th birthday, Babs and Tera held a party for her in Fort Walton Beach at the Gulfarium. We've been to the Gulfarium several times since moving here but I don't think we've been in the past year and never for a private party, it was really nice. The kids had a great time. Cutter was one busy little boy, he could not stay away from the dolphin windows and fish tanks. I even caught him one time trying to offer the dolphins a sip of his drink!

Sailor and the birthday girl.

He spent a lot of time searching for Nemo and Dory.

Now that is a serious conversation!
