French Quarter and Jackson Square

After our visit to the aquarium we decided to walk down to Jackson Square. The kids enjoyed seeing all the artists working and we loved hearing the music. I really could have spent all day listening to a few of them. We did not go inside St. Louis Cathedral since it said they were having services, hopefully on another trip we will get to check out the inside.

We all got a little bit of a history lesson as none of knew the history of Jackson Square. Sailor had been studying the presidents so she was especially interested.

We managed to make it over to Bourbon St at the perfect spot. That Red Horse sticker, which we did not place, is Hank's squadron. He was quite excited to see that Red Horse really does go anywhere and everywhere.
