End of School Year 2011-2012

Yesterday was the last day of the school year. Luckily, I actually thought to take a picture of the kids before they headed off to school. They have all had such a great year and we are so proud of how hard they worked. Tucker and Sailor both made all A's for the entire year. It's so hard to believe that I am now the mom to a seventh grader and a second grader! Cutter got out of school about two weeks ago, and it totally slipped my mind to take a last day of school picture of him, oops. Guess that what happens with the third child. :( It's pretty neat to see how much they've changed throughout the school year.

Big Kahuna's

Sailor's birthday isn't for a few more days but the only thing she has mentioned she wanted to do was go to Big Kahuna's with her friend Emma. Emma happened to be moving to NC this past weekend so we decided to take the girls a little bit early so they could spend time together. Teresa, the Marquis family and Emma's mom, Karen, were all able to go also, we had such a good time. I wasn't able to get pictures of any place other than the kiddie area since I took them with my phone and when we were in the bigger areas we were too busy playing ourselves.

Although there are several areas for smaller kids, this is Cutter's favorite.

There are more areas than you can even see here, it's a fun place to visit if you are ever in the Destin area.

Little Carpenter

Hank decided to use some scrap wood that was left with this house and a scrap piece of granite we had out in the building to build a little table. While he was taking a break to cook up some supper, Cutter decided to jump in and help out a little.

Sawing it down a little on the edges.
He was concentrating hard on those screws.
He stopped long enough for me to take a picture. I can't really say why he has on this pajama pants and house shoes. After three kids, I'm not really surprised by anything they come out in anymore.
Okay, back to work. This end needs a little sawing too.
One last hit with the hammer should do it.
This is not what the table ended up looking like. And although Hank is far from a carpenter, we do now have a nice little "recycled" table for use on the patio.
