Back to school

This past Monday was the first day of school for the kids here in Navarre. Tucker was a little sad to see the summer come to an end but is looking forward to his new schedule. He is part of what they call a "pod", and gets the opportunity to change classes during the day. He starts with his homeroom teacher who teaches math, changes for science, again for spelling/reading, and finally back to homeroom again. Hopefully this will get him geared up for next year when he will be changing classes all day for middle school. Sailor was all excited and looking forward to starting kindergarten, she is now a big girl! I had hoped to be able to take her to school and walk her to class for her first day but she insisted on riding the bus, such a strong willed little girl. Both kids had a great first day and we can only hope this trend will continue throughout the year.
