Day 4, Animal Kingdom

On Wednesday of last week we spent a good bit of the day at Animal Kingdom. We got to see the Lion King, go on an African safari, visit a petting zoo, ride a few rides and watch a short film.

We got to watch this giraffe using the tree to scratch his back, or neck, whichever it is.

Day 3, Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios is where we thought Cutter would be most excited to go, most of the Pixar characters can be found there, and he absolutely LOVES Toy Story. The kids enjoyed getting to see some of the costumes and props from movies and getting an idea how some of the stunts are put together.

Mom and I enjoyed Beauty and the Beast while Hank, Dad and the kids rode a few rides.

Day 2, Epcot

I wasn't sure how the kids would enjoy Epcot but Tucker loved it. He especially loved the space themed rides and visiting the different countries.

During our "trip" to Great Britain, we got to go to a Beatles concert.

Sailor lost her first tooth! She has been slowly working it loose and this afternoon she finally got it loose enough to get it out. She is quite excited about the tooth fairly coming tonight to make a visit.

Magic Kingdom

We just got back from a week long vacation to Orlando. In order to try and get in everything we had hoped to see, it made for some very long and busy days. The kids did a great job and I can only hope the trip was as memorable for them as it was for us. Disney truly is a magical place!

Trick or Treat

Trick or treating turned out to be such a fun event this year. Last year we were a little disappointed with how few houses around us celebrated but this year was a whole different story. We took the kids down our street and the next street over and by the time we got back not only were the kids buckets completely full but Hank had give out of candy as well. We had our neighbors over as well as the Marquis family and not only did the kids seem to have a good time, but the big boys left to hand out candy seemed to have a lot of fun.

Playtime

This time of year has to be my favorite for living in Florida. We have slightly cool mornings and perfect shorts weather for the rest of the day, not to hot and not to cold. Halloween morning we got up and went over to the beach for a little stroll on the beach and some shell hunting. The day quickly warmed up and made for a perfect day for spending outdoors for a little playtime followed by an ice cream treat before time for trick or treating.

Tucker was very proud of the little crab he caught, I had to make him leave it at the beach!
