End of soccer season

Back in the middle of November Sailor had her last soccer game for the fall season. She really enjoyed playing and we could see lots of improvement in her throughout the season. We were so fortunate to have been placed on a team with an outstanding coach, he truly was the best! Their team also happened to have finished their season undefeated, way to go soccer smurfs!

Bulls Bay sunset

One of the first days we were in Columbia we made a quick run over to Bulls Bay for a little visiting. We obviously timed our leaving just right and were rewarded with this, simply breathtaking.

Little deer hunter

While we were in NC for the Thanksgiving break, Cutter got the chance to do a little deer hunting. Mr Skippy was nice enough to let them use his deer stand so they didn't have far to go. Cutter was so excited!

They didn't see any deer while sitting in the stand but Cutter got to see some on his way back home. He is already looking forward to his next hunting trip!

Friendship Feast

The week before Thanksgiving we got to have lunch with both Sailor and Cutter's classes at school. Sailor's class had a Friendship Feast with the classroom adjacent to theirs and all the parents got to come and join in on the fun. I was amazed at all the yummy food and although sitting in such tiny chairs isn't the most fun, having lunch with my favorite little girl is!

We also got to go for a special Thanksgiving lunch with Cutter. The kids had all made special placemats just for the occasion, Cutter was very proud of his.

The littlest lizard

Tucker recently found this little guy out on the trampoline. We have a lot of lizards here but I think this is the smallest one I've ever seen. The kids wanted to keep him but after quite a bit of persuasion, they decided it was best if we put him back where he was found.

Saints vs Bucs

First let me apologize for not posting anything lately. We have had a busy month and I don't imagine it's going to slow down much until after Christmas, however I promise to try and find the time to get some things posted.

Several weeks ago Hank and Tucker went to New Orleans to watch the Saints play the Buccaneers (Tucker's favorite team). Sadly for Tucker the Saints had the home field advantage and his team lost, but Hank said he loved every minute of being there. They are already looking forward to the chance to go again.

Halloween weekend

Halloween was a busy weekend around our house this year. We took the kids to the Science Station Friday night, trick or treating at The Commons on Saturday night and trick or treating on our street on Halloween night. This is the first year that the Science Station did anything for Halloween and it was a pretty big hit. They had plenty of hands on activities for the kids, education stations and even a haunted beach walk. We are already looking forward to going again next year!
