Happy Birthday Mom!
Wishing a very special mom a very Happy Birthday! I recently downloaded all my photos to an external hard drive so rather than trying to search through those photos I thought I would surprise my mom with some photos from many, many, many years ago (like that age exaggeration). I'm not sure she is even aware that I have these. Happy Birthday Mom, we love you bunches!

Fall Field Trip
In the fall Sailor's class went on a field trip to the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station. The Science Station is one of the kids favorite places here. Tucker has attended day camps as well as summer camp there and hopefully Sailor will get the opportunity to attend this year. I wish they offered a camp for parents, I'd be one of the first to sign up! I wasn't able to go with the class for this field trip, but luckily another mom went and took pictures that she emailed out to all the parents this week.
Who doesn't love a field trip with the opportunity to get wet?!
The touch tank. I'm pretty sure my kids can now identify every item they have in it.

Happy Heavenly Birthday
Thinking of You with Love
We thought of you with love today,
but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
we often speak your name.
All we have are memories,
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
with which we will never part.
God has you in His keeping,
we have you in our hearts.
A million times we`ve wanted you.
A million times we cried.
If love could only have saved you,
you never would have died.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
But you didn`t go alone.
For a part of us went with you...
the day God called you Home.

New Years Day 2012
When we finally were able to drag ourselves out of bed New Years Day we decided a trip to the beach would be the perfect way to start the New Year out. We couldn't have asked for more perfect weather, it was absolutely gorgeous. I can only hope the rest of the year will be as good as the first day of it.
I know my kids are growing (because they are eating us out of the house) but I can really see a growth spurt hitting Tucker right now. He is definitely shooting upwards, still not an ounce of fat on him though.
I'm pretty sure if Andy would make shorts and visors Hank would never have to clothes shop again.
Trying to leave most of the sand at the beach rather than bringing it home with us.

New Years Eve
We spent New Years Eve with the Marquis family and I can't begin to describe how much fun everyone had. We let the kids make mini pizzas, smores, shoot fireworks and do a little dancing. The image of Hank and Michael dancing is forever burned in my mind! We are looking forward to a wonderful New Year.
Cutter enjoying a little dessert before his supper.
Oh yeah, we are teaching good things.
We celebrated New Years Mardi Gras style!
Bring on the daiquiri's! I think the hat makes him look much more professional.
Time for smores, and I'm pretty sure this picture of Alli can be used for blackmail if we ever need it.
The fog was amazing, these trees are directly next door in the neighbors yard.

Christmas Morning 2011
Christmas morning was quite busy around here. In addition to the gifts Santa left, the kids still had lots of presents left to open.
Finally done and checking out the toys.
The only thing Cutter had asked Santa to bring him was an orange dinosaur, so glad he came through!
It took awhile but we eventually found the floor!
Cutter is currently going through a dinosaur phase, he was quite excited with these.
Still opening presents.
Finally done and checking out the toys.

Christmas Eve 2011
We let the kids open a few presents on Christmas Eve. They were so excited with the items they received and spent the rest of the evening playing.
Please mom, just take the picture so we can open a present!
Cutter loves anything John Deere.
Sailor and her doll got matching pj's, they immediately changed into them.
Playing with domino's.
One of Tucker's prized possessions, an Angry Bird shirt.

Zoo Lights
Our local zoo offers many different events throughout the year and during the holidays they put on their zoo lights display. This is the first year we've gone. The kids all seemed to really enjoy it although Cutter didn't care one bit about the animals.
Most of the animals were put in their houses for the night but there were a few left out in the petting areas like this baby deer, so sweet!
Everywhere you walked or looked they had displays up.
They had a bubble maker that the kids thought was really neat, until they ended up soaking wet and muddy!
